ABOUT THE CLINIC

Friends of Family Planning works in partnership with Health Imperatives.

Friends of Family Planning of Martha’s Vineyard, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our board members are all volunteers from the Island community. Funds we raise directly support our local clinic by providing a permanent home on State Road in Vineyard Haven. We own and maintain the clinic’s space, provide professional cleaning services, occasionally purchase medical equipment, provide grants for community projects, and subsidize staff training and travel.

Our local clinic is staffed and run by Health Imperatives. Health Imperatives is a non-profit community-based agency that provides vital health and human services to nearly 30,000 families and individuals each year in Southeastern Massachusetts, including the Cape and Islands.
